Dr. Krisztian Balog is a postdoctoral researcher at the Database Systems research group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
His research interests lie in the use and development of information retrieval, information extraction, and machine learning techniques for intelligent information access.
He has published over 50 scientific papers and is a regular speaker at international conferences and seminars. Also, he has served as reviewer for several international conferences and journals.

Dr. Balog Krisztián a Norvég Tudományos Egyetem posztdoktori kutatója (Norwegian University of Science and Technology - Department of Computer and Information Science - Database Systems csoport).
Fő kutatási területe az intelligens kereső technológiák, dokumentum-elemzés és információ-kinyerés, mesterséges intelligencia, természetes nyelv-feldolgozás és gépi tanulás módszerek segítségével.
Több mint 50 tudományos publikáció szerzője, rendszeres előadó nemzetközi szakmai konferenciákon és szemináriumokon. Több nemzetközi, szakmai és tudományos társaság bizottsági tagja.
